On Wednesday 14th February 1996 (Valentine's Day) I went to the ROUND OF GRAS pub in Evesham to see once again the TAKE FIVE Jazz Band.

The line-up of TAKE FIVE was:-

• NICK SMITH - Tenor Saxophone / Alto Saxophone / Cornet / Vocals
• NEIL IONS - Vocals / Percussion
• IAN HATTERSLEY - Trumpet / Flugel Horn
• DANIEL PRICE - String Bass
• LEE POINTON - Guitar / Banjo

Unfortunately I could not see this performance because I was behind a wooden post, also I could hardly hear the band because it was a busy night and we were far away, however I did semi hear a tune I recognised which was not a Jazz tune. This tune was LADY MADONNA which of course was originally recorded by THE BEATLES.
